1.Generally silk sarees should be dry cleaned.
2.Being a natural fibre, silk requires breathing and ensures to wrap the silk sarees with pure cotton cloth.
3.Stained silk sarees should be dry-cleaned as soon as possible.
4.Dyes and sizings tend to discolor with moisture therefore attempting to remove stains with water is not recommended.
5.Scrubbing or pressing could ruin the fabric as it is difficult to remove a concentrated food or beverage stain.
6.Do not dry the sari under the sun or direct sunlight and dry the saree under shadow.
7.Iron the saris only with medium heat.
8.Handle saris gently.
9.Don't ever try to wash the silk saree using machines or together with other clothes.
10.Make sure to wash the body of the sari, pallu and border seperately.
